Guangzhou College of Commerce
This exhibition positions service design as a bridge between Lingnan’s intangible cultural heritage as a vital part of Chinese culture and contemporary design frontiers. By integrating human-centred methods, digital narration and AI-generated art, it reinterprets traditional Chinese crafts, rituals and symbols into actionable service systems, accessible products and community interventions. Rather than freezing heritage in the past, it activates cultural wisdom for daily life, addressing real-world challenges such as aging, accessibility and cultural transmission. The exhibition demonstrates how design from China preserves and spreads Chinese culture while contributing globally relevant, future-oriented thinking.
