Edinburgh Youth Orchestra
Edinburgh Youth Orchestra performs an atmospheric programme of orchestral music conducted by Musical Director Sian Edwards to celebrate its summer season. Frank Ticheli Angels in the Architecture for wind, brass, percussion, double bass and solo soprano opens the concert and is followed by the beautiful Vaughan Williams Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis for double string orchestra and string quartet. The second half of the concert is devoted to Gustav Holst The Planets and EYO is excited to welcome the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS) Chamber Choir for the closing movement.
