House of Oz and The Farm
Powerful, raw and emotional, Glass Child goes beyond fiction and theatre to showcase the extraordinary love of two siblings, Kayah, a young man with Down syndrome and his sister Maitreyah. Expressed through dance, theatre and storytelling Glass Child highlights their connection and how their lives have been affected by other people's perceptions. Maitreyah has watched Kayah be ridiculed or ignored without understanding why. By bravely sharing their own experience they ask the rest of us to look at how we meet others and why we search for difference when we share so much in common.
