Growing Pains is a comic look at the best and worst of the British education system. Tessa isn't built for much... A failed play at the Fringe, a sponging screen-writer for a partner and a bumbling middle-class persona hardly qualifies her as a teacher. But, finding herself with few alternatives, at 25 Tessa is tasked with inspiring the future. Her rag-tag GCSE drama group are more focused on Tessa's demise than their exams, but this year will be a year of learning for all. Mid-twenties angst is real and, with no answers, can Tessa really teach anyone anything?
