Hard Pill is a comedy play about friendship, virginity and contraception. In the liminal space of the Boots waiting area, Astrid is waiting for the morning-after pill. Her two friends, Sonia and Harry, join her – and the three muddle over the shame of having and not having sex. With interjections from Hannah, a mutual frienemy, and the conniving pharmacist, the friends go through the impossible task of maintaining ego and vulnerability.
