Alyson O'Hara
Hose Water is a lyrical comedy about a girl on the verge of adolescence. Alyson is determined to keep her family's attention despite mounting distractions. Just when the stakes feel impossibly high, puberty arrives in the most inconvenient way possible. Threaded through this chaotic childhood memory is the voice of her adult self still longing to be seen. This heartfelt one-woman show mixes stand-up, music and puppetry to tell the story of the ultimate heartbreak: growing up. It is a love letter to the awkward, lonely, hopeful child inside all of us.
