I Made You A Mixtape

Nine girls. One dorm. Zero filter. A movement-led dance theatre piece set at a 1990s college dorm party, where performers respond physically to music instead of text. Using popular songs, the work explores friendship, identity, nostalgia and moments of change. Created by the UK’s first Meisner-based movement theatre company, the piece uses a unique method merging acting and movement, so no two performances are ever the same. Funny, tender, chaotic and sincere, it offers an emotionally direct, deeply relatable experience shaped by music and memory.
