Bottoms Up Theatre
Bottoms Up Theatre is back with their trademark devising process, taking aim at masculinities past and present. What do you think made a man 400 years ago? And how do you think he’d survive Scottish society today? Based on director Ashley Brown’s PhD research and the cast’s own experiences, In His Own Image puts Scottish masculinity under the spotlight. Expect egos, conflicts and some truly questionable decisions from our host of historically-inspired and hopelessly-opinionated characters. Maybe Scotland’s past isn’t as left behind as we think. Come see what happens when rigorous scholarship meets creative abandon.
