Jade Gebbie (British Comedy Guide Performance Award finalist 2025 and writer for The News Quiz, Nature Table) has always been a people pleaser – but now she’s hit her mid-thirties she’s delving into how it’s held her back, annoyed her loved ones and why overthinking fictional scenarios isn’t a reasonable excuse for missing a work meeting.
