Nimble Dance Company
Nimble Dance Company present a reimagined, contemporary adaptation of the romantic ballet classic. Set within a Scottish modern art gallery, the story unfolds between reality and imagination as James becomes captivated by a mysterious Sylph who draws him away from his world. Blending classical ballet with contemporary movement, this intimate performance explores themes of desire, illusion and identity. With minimal staging and evocative visuals, a poetic atmosphere tailored to the Fringe is created. Performed by a diverse cast of community dancers, reflecting Nimble’s mission to deliver ambitious, accessible, and emotionally engaging work.
