Lawrence Dodd
Playful, chaotic clowning meets existential confusion as one man desperately tries to make sense of life. Perpetually derailed, deluded and paralysed by overwhelm, Big Loz Dodd arrives to do something very special indeed – something that might just deliver the kind of profound insight that shakes our contemporary situation to its core. Blending performance art and contemporary clowning, This Can't Be It is a semi-improvised, feverish and open-hearted exploration of how we stay open to the mystery when everything is closing us down. Directed by Lara Ricote, with Rachael Dobbie on tech.
