Ukrainian Dance and Choir Ensemble
An evocative dance and vocal performance exploring displacement, resilience, and hope – created and performed by Ukrainians resettled in Scotland. Through music, movement and storytelling, the children and adults share their experiences of leaving home, saying goodbye and starting again in a new country. With honesty and heart, they express themes of love, loss and the promise of tomorrow, showing how creativity helps process change and find joy amidst uncertainty. This powerful piece offers audiences a window into the emotional world of displaced Ukrainians, told in their own voices and shaped by their courage and imagination.
