Never Not Murder steps into 1944 Chicago, where honest detective Frankie King navigates a dangerous world of love, betrayal and corruption while racing to stop a powerful figure's rise to mayor. This stylish film noir embraces classic tropes – femme fatales, tangled relationships and moral dilemmas – while reinventing them for the stage. A sharp, witty narrator breaks the fourth wall, guiding audiences through the twists and secrets of the story. Meanwhile, a visible, ever-moving "crew" interacts with both actors and audience, transforming the entire theatre into a dynamic, immersive and playful storytelling experience.
