Stacie Burrows
In this solo Southern Gothic drama blending film, theatre, original songs, and true stories, 'LA-based Texan Stacie Burrows is good company' (Scotsman). With a backdrop of dive bars and graveyards, Burrows goes to El Paso, Texas where her grandfather drank himself to death in the 50s and wound up buried in another woman's grave. As she moves through generations of her family, we learn that history doesn't always repeat itself, but it often rhymes. This is a tribute to the perseverance of women who carried on raising children despite being tethered to an addict.
