Warren Martin / PBH's Free Fringe
Irish comic Warren Martin explores colonialism, partition and Palestine through sharp satire and Irish history. Paddystinian, a term coined to insult the Irish but proudly embraced, dives into the tangled mess of Israel and Palestine – and why Ireland throws its weight behind a country thousands of miles away. From Norman invasions to modern headlines, the show unpacks myths, historical parallels and the strange common ground Ireland shares with Palestine. Funny, provocative and politically charged, it asks what happens when history repeats itself – and whether anyone ever thinks about how these stories end.
