Palestine Comedy Club
This documentary follows six Palestinian comedians as they embark on an impossible stand-up tour across occupied Palestine, using comedy to connect communities divided by walls and destruction. From Ramallah to Haifa, their journey is marked by checkpoints, risk and raw, defiant humour. When they arrive to perform in London on 7 October 2023, as war breaks out at home, their mission is thrown into crisis. This is a story of resistance through laughter, intimate, political and urgently human. Premiered at SXSW London this year, and won Raindance Spirit Award. Followed by a Q&A with the cast.
