Meet Molly-Rose and El: two flatmates festering in their squalid hovel, avoiding the outside world like the plague. But when a lightning bolt hits their living room and opens up a mysterious sinkhole, they're sucked into a surreal underworld full of bizarre and uninvited guests. Nothing is as it seems, except the mould. Spoilers: a Boston cop sex maniac, a bitter recorder prodigy, Edvard Munch’s The Scream, a sentient snail and a Love Island wannabe... yes, really.
