Sacred Arts Festival Music at Old Saint Paul’s: To be a Pilgrim – Words and Music in Search of God

19:30United Kingdom - Scotland
Performer / Performance company

Choir of Old Saint Paul's

Pilgrimage, both literal and metaphorical, has long been, and still is, an important part of religious and contemplative life. In this event the acclaimed choir of Old Saint Paul's, under its director Dr John Kitchen MBE, performs a selection of hymns and anthems that give musical expression to spiritual pilgrimage. Drawn from works composed and written over the centuries, the music will be interspersed by poetry reflecting the same theme.
