A delightful afternoon concert in a beautiful venue, the New Town Church in George Street, presenting German Lieder by Schubert, Schumann, Loewe and Strauss – all inspired by Scottish poets including Burns, Scott and Ossian. The distinguished Scottish bass, Brian Bannatyne-Scott, has been performing in the International Festival and the Fringe for many years to packed audiences and is joined this year by two star compatriots in Susan Hamilton (soprano) and Jamie MacDougall (tenor), accompanied by the Scottish-based Polish pianist Michal Gajzler. Not to be missed!
