Galerie Mirages
Shibori, the Japanese art of beautiful resist textile dyeing. This form of decoration is called Bandhani in India and most likely originated there, where it has been practised for more than 2000 years. Decorated with traditional tiny dots, we have Haori silk kimono jackets, fabric from Japan, silk and cotton fabric and shawls and scarves from India. This is a very unique exhibition of this exquisite textile art, perfect for lovers of textiles. This is our 38th festival exhibition.
