Lizzie Simpson
In 2023, like a Dickensian protagonist, BBC shortlisted comedian Lizzie Simpson lost her beloved uncle. Leaving behind paper towels, many a spicy VHS and a flat in the capital, Lizzie found herself with £20,000 and a dream. Should she invest in her future or a Fringe show? You decide! After toiling the London open mic scene, finally with the means to bring her vision to the unsuspecting public, this oversharer with a dry, yet likeable edge asks whether her uncle's retirement fund is being put to good use.
