A dance theatre work exploring one man’s internal battle with depression, loss and memory. Combining choreography with cinematic imagery, SICK delves into psychological tension and the presence of an unseen intruder shaped by grief. Created by choreographer Taira Foo, the piece draws on lived experience and collaboration with young people affected by mental health challenges. The words ‘elastic’, ‘space’ and ‘movement’ become metaphors for confinement and release, questioning whether hope can emerge when darkness feels overwhelming.
