Father Mychal Judge was serving as NYC Fire Chaplain on the morning of 9/11 when the call came that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. Immediately he went to help, a decision that led to his death and designation as Victim 0001. Stations of Mychal is a dramatic song cycle that tells the story of Fr. Mychal's life and death. With a libretto by Rick Davis and music by Kevin Salfen, this work shows us the profound significance of a single human life set against the backdrop of the first defining event of our century.
