EIDA (China/UK)
A contemporary multimedia dance theatre production inspired by the ancient Chinese myth of Nüwa Mending the Sky. The story centres on the forgotten stone left behind, transforming an ancient legend into a poetic journey of self-discovery. Blending expressive dance, puppetry, original music, projection and immersive multimedia, the production explores identity, resilience and belonging through striking visual storytelling. Universal in theme, yet rooted in Chinese mythology, The Becoming Stone offers an emotionally uplifting theatrical experience for audiences of all ages, inviting us to discover that our greatest value lies not in being chosen, but in becoming ourselves.
