Belle de Beauvoir / PBH's Free Fringe
Get in my bed. Literally. Join Belle de Beauvoir for a bed-in at the end of the world. One giant communal duvet den: protest, cabaret, sleepover, social experiment. Between the sheets, audiences enter into a collage of music, burlesque, games, confessions, revolution and soft chaos. Pillows fly. Strangers become collaborators. Hosted by a cabaret icon, healing civilisation with satin sheets and increasingly unstable audience participation; what does it mean to make art, seek intimacy and stay tender in an apocalyptic age? Can we create something so soft nobody can ever get hurt? For 55 minutes, we can try.
