City of Ladies Theatre
Offbeat comedy exploring the radical ladies of the past through puppetry, drag and special hats. Join ladies Rectitude and Reason, two of the three muses (Justice is on a wicked comedown) as they help Christine de Pizan to imagine a city constructed and populated exclusively by women. This is a necessary act of social justice for the sanctity and peace of women everywhere. But what does it mean to be a lady? Who gets to decide? And will there be Airbnbs? 'Perfect comedic timing' **** (WestEndBestFriend.co.uk). 'A genre-defying hour of informed silliness' **** (ToDoList.org.uk).
