Daniel Serridge
Across northern England, roads wend their way through picturesque countryside. Ancient dry stone walls hold the ghostly stories of the dead that were carried past on these secret and haunted trails. The Corpse Road follows the rise and fall, the twists and turns of these paths to tell the tale of characters that were carried to their final resting place. Storyteller Daniel Serridge and musician Heather Cartwright weave together story and song in this evocative and unnerving folkloric journey to the grave. 'A Fringe must-see' ***** (CorrBlimey.uk, for Orpheus/Orfeo).
