Destiny Faith Nelson / Rhymes with Purple
A Black, failed writer decides to take matters into her own hands and finally control the narrative of her life. She's going to kill herself and her suicide note may be her best work yet. From TikTok wars on screens to real wars in the street, Desiree doesn't see much hope left in the world. Feeling increasingly lonely, anxious and no longer sure of her purpose, Desiree has a reckoning with God, digital spectators, and a world that confuses survival with living and performance with connection.
