Hamish MacDonald and Liza Mulholland
An alternative take on Scotland's national bard, Hamish and Liza present bittersweet, comedic and satirical songs – from the pen of, and influenced by, Robert Burns with spoken word poetry along the way. Performing together for many years, songwriter and Scottish slam poetry champion, Hamish, was Scots Scriever at the National Library of Scotland and first Robert Burns Writing Fellow. Liza is a songwriter, musician – and co-creator, performer, producer of five-star touring show Metagama: An Atlantic Odyssey, writer and performer for Edge of the World Cabaret, and collaborates with artists on cross-artform projects.
