Jake Kuhn, Noah Stratton-Twine
A feckless sound recordist is sent to a strange island by a tyrannical film director, but becomes obsessed with the mysteries and litany of eccentrics he discovers there in this constantly inventive, superbly atmospheric British comedy debut. Beautifully shot, full of wit, pathos and surreal humour, this is low budget indie filmmaking of the highest order.
