The Provocateurs
Historically, people tried all sorts of crazy stuff to slow ageing. Dr Rebekah White (The University of Edinburgh) examines these old ideas in the light of modern science and asks if any of them actually worked. Dr Tomas Deingruber (The University of Edinburgh) searches for the perfect molecular match in the process of drug discovery, navigating through thousands of hopeful molecules to find the perfect candidate for chronic lung conditions, and speeding its journey to patients. Part of the Edinburgh Medical School’s 300th Anniversary.
