Where sound becomes movement in this reimagining of a classical Japanese folktale. Directed by Erica Yamada, a Toga Directors' Competition award recipient, the work features acclaimed performers who have been invited to stages across Asia. Praised in Japanese previews for its inventive movement, creativity and sound, the piece blends rhythm, myth and intimate storytelling into a visceral, cross-cultural experience that shifts from quiet physical poetry to contemporary dance and a powerful ensemble finale. Supported by the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation.
