Rebecca Donovan
Aoife is 17, about to graduate her all girls catholic school, desperate to escape her rural Irish town and is definitely not... gay. With a mother who avoids hard conversations, a father who prefers whiskey to parenting and a town that treats different like a dirty word, Aoife has one goal: get the f*ck to London and never look back. Leaving means losing everything she's ever known. Staying means suffocating. And God? He's really not helping. Aoife wrestles with the question that haunts her the most: if she admits the truth, what happens next?
