Beyond the Blue
Island Spirit is a captivating musical where a young Polish woman returns to Scotland to trace her roots. She takes a job at a whisky distillery on a remote Scottish island, discovering the story of her mother, and the father she never knew. This Fringe-style performance offers original songs from the musical, in between which the tale unfolds as she learns about her family’s past and her own identity. The show features soulful melodies with Scottish musical influences, weaving together powerful storytelling and emotive songs. Beyond the Blue return to the Fringe with this heartfelt performance.
