Weird Wikis and well-read audience members alike already know: books are the islands of the mind. Oases of fantasy, adventure, whims and larks, poetic landscapes, fist-eatingly boring deserts and epic wildernesses in this wide, wild ocean of “darn” that is this world. And so, Wiki invites her audience to come aboard and enjoy fantasies of paradisiacal islands while reminiscing about the joy of the written word, from the Bard to the Beats, testing their knowledge of island nations and literary nations alike. To unpathed waters, undreamed shores. The rest – as they say – is islands.
