A recorded documentary solo performance written and performed by Inzhu Abeu (Sydykova). After discovering a memoir written by her scientist grandfather, Inzhu begins to uncover a life she had barely known about: his childhood, time in an orphanage, scientific career, and the family he created. Drawing on his writings, her performance becomes an intimate journey through family memory and across generations. Zhurmbek devoted his life to science, becoming one of the founders of hydro-geology in Soviet Kazakhstan. Through his own words, his granddaughter meets Zhuke anew – a humble and warmhearted man with an incredible desire to live.
