A way for businesses to experience the Fringe from the inside.
Network Friends are Edinburgh-based organisations who want to be fully immersed in the magic of the Fringe.
As a Network Friend, you can provide your clients and colleagues with look behind the scenes of one of the world's foremost celebrations of arts and culture. You get to attend invite-only events, meet key players and see top performances.
The Fringe is a vital part of Edinburgh’s cultural and economic landscape, attracting thousands of people from around the world each year; there’s no better time to get involved and support the arts.
We’ve put together two exclusive packages designed especially for businesses:
Becoming a Network Insider or Trailblazer enables you to make the most out of this amazing festival, by providing fantastic opportunities for client entertainment, networking and raising the profile of your organisation among our dedicated supporters.
Network Insiders – £2,500 + VAT
- 10 invites to our exclusive August receptions with tasters of shows.
- A tour of our artists’ hub Fringe Central, with a chance to meet staff and learn about the work of the Fringe Society.
- Invites for your team to a private Network Friends’ reception in the iconic Fringe Shop, with a performance and a chance to meet senior staff.
- 2for1 tickets to selected shows.
- Complimentary tickets to any Fringe show (see Ts & Cs for more information).
- Assistance with choosing shows and booking tickets, including show recommendations relevant to your organisation’s interests.
- Name acknowledgement on our Network Friends webpage.
Network Trailblazers – £5,000 + VAT
All the benefits of Network Insiders, plus:
- A meet and greet with the Fringe Society Chief Executive.
- Two invites to the Artists’ Welcome Address delivered by a celebrity performer.
- Five invites to our programme launch in June.
- Five invites to our Review of the Year event in November.
- Logo acknowledgement on our Network Friends webpage and the chance to promote your business to our 5,000+ Fringe Friends with an exclusive offer.
All our Network Friends also receive a 10% discount on merchandise in the Fringe Shop and a 10% discount on group ticket bookings.
Build your support to fund what you care about
We can tailor partnerships to your needs and aims, whether you want more tickets, more brand recognition or to achieve charitable goals.
For example, add £2,000 to your tier to enable a local community / youth group to experience the Fringe for free.
Alternatively, you could support mental health services for artists, skills development, accessibility or climate goals. You could even host Fringe performances in your office just for your staff.

Frequently asked questions
Membership fees from Network Friends support the charitable work of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, which works year-round to support participants and audiences coming to the Fringe.
You can either book tickets through contacting us or you can book tickets yourself. Get in touch for more details on your complimentary tickets.
Please note:
- The Friends 2for1 ticket offer cannot be used in conjunction with other 2for1 ticket offers or concessions.
- The Friends 2for1 ticket offer applies only to those shows which have chosen to take part, not every show in the programme.
- Complimentary tickets and 2for1 tickets will be capped at a certain amount depending on your organisation’s agreement with the Fringe Society.
Your membership will be active as soon as you have completed payment and will be linked to the person who completes the purchase. When this person logs in, they will notice that the login symbol in the top right-hand corner of our ticketing page has turned purple, indicating your status as a Fringe Friend. If this is showing as blue instead of purple, please contact the Network Friends team.
Terms and conditions
You can read our full terms and conditions, but below are a few key points to bear in mind:
- Friend receptions and Fringe Society events are subject to capacity limits and / or safety restrictions.
- Network Friend memberships are non-refundable.
- Network Friend memberships run for one Fringe season and expire on 31 December each year.
- 2for1 tickets and complimentary tickets will be capped at a certain amount according to the specific agreement between the Fringe Society and your organisation.
