Edinburgh Gin continues its Fringe Society support

13 August 2025 Partnerships
Edinburgh Gin is continuing its generous support of the Fringe Society in 2025 with special fundraising events and donations.

The local distillery will host an exclusive reception for our Fringe Friends today (13 August) at its fabulous new home at The Arches, right in the heart of the city centre. As well as providing a stunning backdrop for the event, they will also be supporting our fundraising efforts by donating some exciting raffle prizes, including an ‘Aroma Alchemy Experience’ at the Edinburgh Gin Distillery.

In addition, they’ve offered to host a second, ticketed event on Thursday 21 August called Ready, Steady, Cocktail with a comedy twist! For one night only, Scottish comedians Jay Lafferty and Gareth Mutch will take on professional mixologists to tackle a live cocktail challenge. With a welcome drink, two outrageous creations mixed live on stage and an audience vote deciding the winner, anything can happen. Proceeds from the event will support the Fringe Society.

Our relationship with Edinburgh Gin goes back to 2021, when the distillery issued a special edition bottle celebrating Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the Fringe Society’s newly appointed honorary President. Proceeds from the sale of these bottles helped establish our inaugural Keep it Fringe fund in 2023, supporting artists to bring work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

A second signature bottle, this time celebrating Fringe Ambassador Suzy Eddie Izzard, was issued in 2023, with proceeds once again supporting the Fringe Society’s charity work.

We’re incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with Edinburgh Gin, which will continue to support the Fringe Society’s activities while helping to showcase the fabulous new Edinburgh Gin Distillery.
