We’re running a fun Instagram competition at the Mound food and drink village this weekend, giving three visitors the chance to win a day out at the Fringe while enjoying the Fringe Street Events and tasty refreshments!
Here’s what’s on offer for each winner:
- a Mound Village £20 bar voucher
- a food voucher for one item from the Mound Village
- a £20 Fringe voucher.

Here’s what you have to do:
1. Post an Instagram Story of you and your pals enjoying the vibes at the Mound food and drink village. Your Story should include at least one of the following:
- a street performer pulling off something incredible
- a scrumptious food pic
- cheersing with your pals!
Make sure you tag @edfringe and use the hashtag #PicTheMound to be in the competition!
2. Comment below our Instagram post letting us know you’ve posted (we get tagged in a LOT of Stories over August – this will let us know to keep an eye out for you!).
3. The following morning we’ll select a winner at random and DM to let them know.
Terms and conditions
- Over-18s only.
- There will be three winners in total, who will each win a prize consisting of: a £20 Fringe voucher, one food item (of any value) from any of the food vendors within the Mound Food and drink village, and a £20 drinks voucher.
- The prizes are non-transferable.
- Food and drink prizes must be redeemed during August 2026. The Fringe voucher will be valid for five years from the date of issue.
- The winner of each prize will be randomly selected and notified via Instagram DM by 11:00 BST the day after they enter.
- The winning entry on Friday 14 August 2026 will be notified by 11:00 BST on Saturday 15 August 2026.
- The winning entry on Saturday 15 August 2026 will be notified by 11:00 BST on Sunday 16 August 2026.
- The winning entry on Sunday 16 August 2026 will be notified by 11:00 BST on Monday 17 August 2026.
