Fringe in a Fortnight is a project designed to give primary school children the opportunity to create a piece of Fringe theatre.

In 2024, three Edinburgh primary schools worked with a Fringe artists to develop their own piece of Fringe theatre in two weeks.

Fringe in a Fortnight generated some great feedback from the kids who took part and their parents who came to watch the performances:

"I enjoyed learning new skills and doing something different in school. It put me out of my comfort zone and Arran made sure we all had something to do."
– Participant

"I value this experience for our children as it helps them to prepare for their tomorrow job, giving them valuable skills such as creativity, verbal presentation skills, digital and video skills..."
– Parent

"I loved the chaotic nature of the performance, it felt very Fringe! Every child excelled in their role."
– Parent

"Great initiative and opportunity for the class."
