Every penny you give makes a difference. The generosity of our supporters plays a vital role in making sure the Edinburgh Festival Fringe continues to be the largest arts festival, the most valuable platform for international work in the UK, and the most significant international platform for Scottish work in the world.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, a registered charity, organises the structure that underpins the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and fundamentally exists to:
- provide support, advice and encouragement to all the amazing artists, producers and venues who create the Fringe each year.
- assist the audiences who come by helping to navigate what’s on offer with comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date information and ticketing.
- promote this wonderful and unique festival to the rest of the world.
The Fringe Society works year-round to support the Fringe; however the level of commitment required for such an undertaking would not be possible if it weren’t for the enthusiasm of the people of Edinburgh, combined with the long standing support of our audiences, sponsors, supporters and the goodwill of the Friends of the Fringe, Patrons and Angels. The Fringe Society strives to provide support that exceeds participant and public expectations and we ask you to join us in supporting this challenge.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe has nurtured incredible talent from Emma Thompson to Derek Jacobi, Graham Norton to Eddie Izzard. We need your support to ensure Edinburgh continues to host the greatest show on earth each August, and so we can continue to support new creative talent across the whole spectrum of the arts.
