Health in Mind to offer artist wellbeing support at Fringe 2026

17 June 2026 Partnerships
The mental health charity will offer remote and in-person sessions for artists at this year's festival.

We’re delighted to share that mental health charity Health in Mind is returning to offer artist wellbeing support as part of the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Building on a successful four-year partnership, Health in Mind will deliver free, confidential, remote support sessions (up to one hour) for Fringe artists and crew via Microsoft Teams or phone.

Sessions are available from now until the end of the Fringe, and can be used to:

  • help get your initial wellbeing strategies in place
  • talk through concerns around your mental health and wellbeing as you plan your Fringe run
  • provide a grounded space before you touch down in Edinburgh.

During August, the Health in Mind team will also be based at Fringe Central (6 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LS) for drop-in or pre-booked in-person one-to-one conversations. You can find them there, 10:00 – 17:00, from Wednesday 05 – Monday 31 August 2026.

The experienced team can offer:

  • a listening ear to process the pre-festival buildup
  • emotional and practical support tailored to the unique demands of the Fringe
  • psychoeducation and self-care strategies to protect your energy and well-being
  • signposting to local Edinburgh and national UK support services.

How to book

Pre-Fringe sessions are available now – please note session times will be provided in Edinburgh time (BST).
