Description
Following Under a Lime Sky at last year’s Fringe, Blackflowersstudio returns with Craw Caw the second of Irene Jordan’s crow series of drawings, collage, paintings and sculptures. Influenced by the Craw in Scottish culture, poetry and more besides, Jordan’s art is a fusion of imagination and life. The crow, an archaic, modern, gloriously clever earthen bird, struts and caws, inhabits graveyards and all pockets of our world. In many cultures, the crow is embedded in our awareness of mortality, reminding us of the dance of life and death. This exhibition offers a truly personal experience. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
