Description

In Funny Bones, a clown contemplates life, death, and other laughing matters. After a disastrous bicycle accident, a professional circus performer is left to tame a stubborn soul who refuses to cooperate with his broken body. Featuring large-scale puppetry and high-energy physical comedy, Funny Bones juggles distinctive storytelling with dynamic audience interaction. Audiences of all ages are invited to step right up and enjoy this powerful story of redemption.

General venue access

  • Wheelchair Accessible Toilets
  • Accessible entry: Patrons enter the building via either 3 shallow steps or the platform lift at the front of the building. Please note the platform lift is only suitable for manual wheelchairs and not power wheelchairs. The Nip can be accessed via the building lift to the 1st floor. The Accessible toilet is located on the Basement level. Please make yourself known to a member of staff (in a pink t-shirt) if you require assistance or require a specific seat.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
