Description

Two years ago, a Japanese female comedian made the leap to New York, ready to reveal the truth about Japanese women and society, while uplifting survivors and dismantling stereotypes. Kilara, a hikikomori survivor and HBCU alumni, also exposes harassment by another symbol of Japanese power: the middle-aged man. Through experiences in both American and Japanese cultures, Kilara is sick of being someone's "waifu"! We're all unicorns! Join the adventurous spirit of the pink-haired star from Paul Hollywood Eats Japan as she finally eats Edinburgh!
