Description

Maeve Press spent 17 years under special education observation. She's now received written reports highlighting everything wrong with her. Today, she unboxes them. 'Absolutely shines with a brilliance beyond her years.' (AVClub.com). Maeve is a comedian, actress and writer from New York City. She was the youngest comedian ever to perform at Boston's Women in Comedy Festival and has been seen on Everything's Gonna Be Okay (Freeform), Too Many Buddhas (co-starring Maria Bamford) and Before Your Very Eyes (Off-Broadway). 'Has a sensitive heart encased in an armor of spiky sarcasm' (New York Times).

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Lift access through the glass box into the main studio area. If not taking the lift there are 12 steps down into the performance space. There is level access via Windmill Lane off of Buccleuch Place.

    • Wheelchair access type: Building Lift

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
