Description

Meshida is a Japanese stand-up comedian. Breaking away from a corporate job in Japan, he ventured to the United Kingdom to pursue stand-up comedy. He has done his solo English stand-up comedy show in Tokyo over 500 times for foreign tourists. He jokes about current world news and events from his own unique Japanese perspective, which is quite different from a Westerner's viewpoint. His show is both funny and educational – audiences can see the world from a never-expected angle.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: There are 2 steps into the main bar area and then 20 steps down into the performance space area. Narrow passages at performance space level to the three small performance spaces.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 20+
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
