Description

Every time Ray O'Leary (Taskmaster New Zealand) does stand-up comedy and people laugh, he gets a little bit more strong. Soon he will be the most powerful man in the universe. At the end of this show, he'll be able to lift a car above his head. Nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Best Male Comedian by the New Zealand Comedy Guild. Ray is a staple on Australasian television including Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats and Thank God You're Here. 'Very funny' (NZHerald.co.nz).

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Lift access through the glass box into the main studio area. If not taking the lift there are 12 steps down into the performance space. There is level access via Windmill Lane off of Buccleuch Place.
  • Wheelchair access type: Building Lift

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
