If you are looking to discover the best of performing arts talent at the Fringe, you can accredit with the Arts Industry Office to gain access to our services.
We recommend that you accredit with the Arts Industry Office if:
you are engaging with the Fringe as an arts industry professional
you have a proven capacity to book or programme work professionally
you have a proven capacity to commission work or offer other significant professional arts development pathways for artists such as screen development opportunities, residencies, arts fellowships etc
are an established producer able to support an artist to platform their work in future
To access our services, we ask industry delegates to accredit with our office and submit all the information we’ll need to support them during August.
If you’ve ever accredited with us before, or even bought tickets through the ticket.edfringe.com website, you will have an existing account with us. You should use these details to log in and access the form. If you’re completely new, you'll have the opportunity to create a new account. If you’ve forgotten these details or are unsure if you have an existing account, contact [email protected].
You will be required to provide information on:
your role and the organisation(s) you work for, including a brief biography, professional website (social media pages not accepted) and contact details
whether you’ve been to the Fringe before, your Fringe programming / buying history, career progression pathways you have previously offered
what type of work / artists / companies you are looking for and the scale and scope of the opportunities you can offer (ie programming shows, commissions, casting etc)
any themes and genres you are specifically interested in exploring at this year's festival
which Arts Industry Office services you would like access to.
The form should only take 10 minutes to complete and you can save and return at any point. We recommend you have your information ready before you start completing it, which should include a JPEG photo of you for your arts industry pass.
Once you’ve hit submit on the form, our Arts Industry Office will review your application within 10 working days. We may get in touch to request further information to support your application.
Please note that the complimentary ticketing request service and Fringe Marketplace are available only to professionals who have a proven capacity and track record of buying or developing work.

If you would like access to either Fringe Marketplace or the complimentary ticket request service, you will need accredit with the Arts Industry Office. Both platforms use the same login details that you will have used to accredit with the Arts Industry Office initially.
To gain access to Fringe Marketplace and / or the complimentary ticket request service, you must have a proven capacity to buy / develop work or be an established agent seeking new clients.
We have questions relating to these criteria as part of the accreditation process, as well as space for you to give details about how you plan to engage with the festival and the opportunities you’re looking to offer. If you wish to access these services, please answer as fully as possible, indicating the scope and scale of the offers you’re able to make. This information will also help us to identify the work that might best appeal to your requirements.
Access to complimentary ticketing and Fringe Marketplace is at the discretion and judgement of the Arts Industry Office, and is not a guaranteed service. Complimentary tickets have cost implications for artists, so we respectfully ask for your understanding in whatever decision is deemed appropriate and seek to consider the scope and scale of your offers as an industry member when requesting tickets.
A number of our services give industry access to privileged information and tickets. On Fringe Marketplace we host digital assets from artists, including full-length show videos, as well as information about their work, their onward touring plans and their contact details. Given the importance and sensitivity of this information for artists, we need to ensure that the people who can access it are able to offer relevant opportunities under the criteria outlined above.
The information you tell us about the type of work you are hoping to find includes genre specifications. We capture this data because it informs the algorithm that feeds into Fringe Marketplace and helps match you with work that meets those specifications. In addition, complimentary ticket requests are checked against your programming interests and the biography provided on your accreditation form; only requests for shows that fit those criteria will be processed.
Fringe Marketplace: Your name, organisation, job title, industry photo, dates in town, programme interests, biography and secondary email address will be included in the Accredited Industry Directory on Fringe Marketplace, which can only be viewed by other accredited arts industry professionals using the platform. You can hide your contact details on Fringe Marketplace by logging into the platform and updating your details in the account settings.
Fringe Marketplace artists who have access to the Arts Industry Directory will not be able to see your contact details.
Complimentary ticket request service: Your name, job title, organisation, biography and primary email address will be included in any requests you make through the complimentary ticket request system. These requests go to the dedicated contact for the show who is managing their allocation of tickets.
Industry lists: Registered artists can request lists of accredited arts industry whose programming specifications fit with the type of work they are bringing to the Fringe. These lists include your name, job title, organisation, country, city, secondary email address (optional), website, biography, whether you’re attending in person, dates in town and the genres of work you’re looking for. Artists make these requests via our Artist Development team, who carefully consider which industry might be most relevant to them. The contact info provided will be the secondary email you are prompted to provide in your 2024 accreditation application for that specific use. Fringe Connect: Your name, biography, organisation, job title, city and account email address populate your account when you log into Fringe Connect for the first time. You can update or hide any information you would like to within the profile settings on Fringe Connect.
Accreditation: Each year we ask you to re-accredit to access our services; when filling out the form, you can select for your information to be stored, which allows for a smoother and speedier accreditation each subsequent time you come to the Fringe, as you only need to log in and update any new information in order to resubmit your application.
When you accredit, an account is automatically created for you on Fringe Connect with the same login and password – it will be activated when you log in. Your Fringe Connect profile will be prepopulated with some of the basic information you supplied in your accreditation form: name, biography, organisation, job title, city and email address.
Once you log into Fringe Connect you can update or hide any information you wish. You will not be visible to other Fringe Connect users until you log in.
When you accredit with our office, we ask if you would like access to Fringe Marketplace and complimentary ticketing. If you do not want access to these one or either of these services, you can still accredit with our office. As an accredited industry member you will still have access to all our industry events, dedicated pages on Fringe Connect, Fringe Central and our in-person services and email newsletters.
