Our 2023 partners TikTok are offering £50,000 in advertising credits for up to 50 artists and companies at Fringe 2023. These are in addition to the £50,000 ad credits awarded to Keep It Fringe fund recipients, making TikTok's total offer £100,000 in advertising on the platform. We are incredibly grateful for this generous offer from our partners!

The competition

Today, Monday 03 July, we've posted on TikTok inviting anyone bringing a show to Fringe 2023 to tell us why they’re excited about coming to the Fringe this August and why the Fringe is special to them. 

The competition will run until 23:59 on Wednesday 12 July. To enter, artists, companies and performers must:

  • follow @EdFringe on TikTok
  • tag @EdFringe in their video message
  • include the hashtags #edfringe and #FillYerBoots when sharing their video message on TikTok.

Then, the week commencing Monday 17 July, we will pick 50 winners at random. Each winner will receive £1,000 in ad credits on TikTok to promote the show they're bringing to this year's Fringe. The winners will be notified via direct message from @EdFringe, the official Fringe TikTok account. 

The competition follows today's announcement that TikTok will be the Virtual Stage of the Fringe 2023
